All day Ham, Cheese and Tomato sandwich

This quick sandwich will take minutes to produce but will easily keep you going for a day or even longer.

Ingredients

To make 1 serving

  • Ciabatta loaf
  • Tomato 2
  • Cheese 100 gSlices
  • Ham slices 100 g
  • Olive oil 2 tbsps

Directions:

  1. Slice the ciabatta loaf horizontally, lie both sides crust down on a baking tray and drizzle with the Olive oil. Grill on a high heat for a few minutes until toasted.
  2. Meanwhile, slice the cheese and tomato.
  3. Once the bread is toasted, make up the sandwich with layers of ham, cheese and tomato, or whatever fillings you wish.
  4. Add the top layer of the bread and press down filming, holding for 30 seconds to a minute. Alternatively, place a tray on top with some weights to squish the sandwich.
  5. Your sandwich is ready to eat! Slice off in 3-5 centimeter wide fingers to snack on until it’s gone
