Corned beef and potato pie

As easy as it gets, this Corned beef and potato pie recipe will really put a smile on your face.


To make 1 serving

  • Tin of corned beef
  • Onion 1
  • 3-4 potatoes depending on what size
  • Salt and pepper
  • Short crust pasty mix

How to make easy corned beef and potato pie:

  1. Boil the potatoes until soft
  2. Drain and mash with a little salt and pepper
  3. Add corned beef and mash into the potato
  4. Gently boil chopped onion until soft
  5. Add to potato and corned beef
  6. Mix well all together
  7. Add water to short crust pastry mix
  8. Knead into a ball, with a little flour roll the ball flat
  9. Add to pie dish
  10. Then add ingredients
  11. Flatten down, make another ball of pastry mix then roll and then add lid to pie
  12. Add a little egg round the side of the pastry to crimp lid to bottom of pie using a fork
  13. With a knife make several holes in pie for the heat
  14. Add a little milk to the lid of the pie to make pastry golden brown
  15. Add a smiley face
  16. Bake for 20-30 minutes until golden brown
