Cumin chicken and avocado salad

A super easy 10 minute warm cumin spiced chicken and tomato salad recipe with avocado.


To make 1 serving

  • Chicken or turkey fillets 1
  • Oil 1 tsp
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Baby tomatoes
  • Avocado
  • Cucumber
  • Red onion

How to make a cumin chicken and avcoado salad

  1. In a bowl mix the oil and spices and coat in both the chicken and tomatoes with it.
  2. Fry the chicken (no need for more oil) on both sides for around 10 minutes each side until fully cooked through. Exact cooking time will depend on size.
  3. Add in the tomatoes for the last few minutes of cooking, making sure to repeatedly move them around to avoid burning.
  4. Meanwhile, peel and slice up the red onion and peel, de-stone and cube the avocado. Place it in a bowl on top of the lettuce.
  5. Once chicken is done, slice up and add on top with the tomatoes.
  6. Add on any salad dressing you wish.
