A super easy, fool-proof Bruschetta recipe.

This simple to follow Bruschetta recipe makes enough tomato topping for 4 pieces of ciabatta (enough for 2-4 people)


To make 1 serving

  • 1 1/2 packs of cherry tomatoes or about 8 salad tomatoes
  • 1 red onion
  • Splash of olive oil
  • Splash of balsamic vinegar if available (not essential)
  • 1 or 2 cloves of garlic (depending on how garlicky you like things)
  • A knob of butter
  • Ciabatta bread (or any crusty bread or rolls works well)

How to make Bruschetta recipe:

  1. Warm up ciabatta bread in oven for about 6 minutes on a medium heat (if you would like warm)
  2. Melt butter and add finely chopped garlic
  3. In a separate bowl, chop up tomatoes into small pieces (cherry tomatoes in about quarters or sixths)
  4. Chop onion into similar sized pieces and add to tomato
  5. Add splashes of oil and balsamic vinegar
  6. Season with salt and pepper
  7. Brush warm ciabatta bread with garlic butter mixture
  8. Spoon tomato mixture on top
