Easy Bruschetta recipe

A super easy, fool-proof Bruschetta recipe.
This simple to follow Bruschetta recipe makes enough tomato topping for 4 pieces of ciabatta (enough for 2-4 people)
Ingredients
To make 1 serving
- 1 1/2 packs of cherry tomatoes or about 8 salad tomatoes
- 1 red onion
- Splash of olive oil
- Splash of balsamic vinegar if available (not essential)
- 1 or 2 cloves of garlic (depending on how garlicky you like things)
- A knob of butter
- Ciabatta bread (or any crusty bread or rolls works well)
How to make Bruschetta recipe:
- Warm up ciabatta bread in oven for about 6 minutes on a medium heat (if you would like warm)
- Melt butter and add finely chopped garlic
- In a separate bowl, chop up tomatoes into small pieces (cherry tomatoes in about quarters or sixths)
- Chop onion into similar sized pieces and add to tomato
- Add splashes of oil and balsamic vinegar
- Season with salt and pepper
- Brush warm ciabatta bread with garlic butter mixture
- Spoon tomato mixture on top
