Easy Carbonara with Mint and Peas Recipe

Carbonara with mint and peas: A fresher twist on a standard pasta carbonara.
Ingredients
To make 1 serving
- Pasta
- Bacon or pancetta
- Double cream 150 ml
- Egg Yolks 2
- Grated parmesan 1 tbsp
- Dried mint or about a handful of fresh leaves 2 tsps
- Peas 1 cup
How to make easy carbonara with mint and peas:
- Cook pasta as you normally would, adding peas to water for last 5 minutes
- Fry chopped up bits of bacon
- Make sauce by adding parmesan, egg yolks and mint to cream
- When pasta cooked, combine all together
