Carbonara with mint and peas: A fresher twist on a standard pasta carbonara.


To make 1 serving

  • Pasta
  • Bacon or pancetta
  • Double cream 150 ml
  • Egg Yolks 2
  • Grated parmesan 1 tbsp
  • Dried mint or about a handful of fresh leaves 2 tsps
  • Peas 1 cup

How to make easy carbonara with mint and peas:

  1. Cook pasta as you normally would, adding peas to water for last 5 minutes
  2. Fry chopped up bits of bacon
  3. Make sauce by adding parmesan, egg yolks and mint to cream
  4. When pasta cooked, combine all together
  5. ENJOY!
