Whip up a plate of easy chicken couscous with this simple how to student recipe


To make 1 serving

  • Frozen Breaded chicken fillets 2
  • Chicken stock cube 1
  • Frozen peas or green beans chopped into smaller pieces
  • Olive oil
  • Plain dry couscous 150 g

How to make easy chicken couscous:

  1. Cook the frozen chicken according to the instructions on the packet.
  2. Put the coucous and the peas/green beans in a bowl.
  3. Make 200ml chicken stock with boiling water and then pour it immediately over the couscous.
  4. After stirring the couscous cover the bowl with something to keep the heat in (e.g. a plate) and leave it to stand for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove the chicken from the oven and cut into chunks.
  6. Add a dash of olive oil to the couscous and stir then mix in the chicken pieces.
  7. Serve and season to taste.
