Ingredients
To make 1 serving
- Frozen Breaded chicken fillets 2
- Chicken stock cube 1
- Frozen peas or green beans chopped into smaller pieces
- Olive oil
- Plain dry couscous 150 g
How to make easy chicken couscous:
- Cook the frozen chicken according to the instructions on the packet.
- Put the coucous and the peas/green beans in a bowl.
- Make 200ml chicken stock with boiling water and then pour it immediately over the couscous.
- After stirring the couscous cover the bowl with something to keep the heat in (e.g. a plate) and leave it to stand for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the chicken from the oven and cut into chunks.
- Add a dash of olive oil to the couscous and stir then mix in the chicken pieces.
- Serve and season to taste.
