Easy fruit scones recipe

Get baking! Here’s an easy recipe for fruit scones especially for students.
Cooking time 10-30 minutes and you’ll need for best results:
– shape cutter
– baking tray
– wire rack if have
– a brush to spread milk on the scone
Ingredients
To make 1 serving
- Self raising flour
- Pinch of salt
- Butter
- Sultanas
- Caster sugar
- Milk
How to make easy fruit scones:
- Heat oven to 220 degrees/gas 7
- Lightly grease a baking tray then mix together the flour and salt and rub in the butter
- Put and stir in sultanas, sugar and then milk to get a good soft dough
- Make a floured surface and knead very lightly then pat out and make shapes(rounds) with a cutter and place on baking tray
- Brush tops with little milk and then make for 12-15 minutes until risen and golden
- Cool on a wire rack and serve with butter or jam or cream if wish
