How to make homemade jam doughnuts with just a microwave

And it really isn’t that difficult.
How to make doughnuts in the microwave
First, melt some butter
In a mug, melt 2 tablespoons of butter in the microwave
Add a few basic ingredients and mix
4 tablespoons of flour
An egg yolk
2 tablespoons of sugar
A tablespoon of milk
Half a teaspoon of baking powder
A sprinkling of cinnamon
Add in a tablespoon of of jam in the middle
You can use any jam, and something like apple sauce would probably work too.
Microwave for 45-60 seconds
Cook until the top is firm – the exact time varies depending on your microwave power. 45 seconds is about right for a 1200W microwave. Check every 10 seconds or so if unsure.
Finish with cinnamon and more jam
