How to make pasta bake without boiling!

  1. To a baking dish add around 500g of pasta (enough to serve 4-6 people).
  2. Top with the pasta sauce. You could just use some chopped tinned tomatoes for a very basic pasta bake.
  3. Add on top the same amount of water – pro tip: fill the empty pasta sauce jar with water and just add that.
  4. You can add other things at this point such as veggies, ham, tuna, whatever you want. There are loads of pasta bake recipes around!
  5. Mix everything together, it doesn’t look too great at this point but stick with it.
  6. Cover with foil and bake covered at 220 degrees / 200 degrees fan for 30 minutes. Carefully remove the foil, stir and replace the foil half way through cooking.
  7. After 30 minutes check the pasta is cooked and if not then cook for a further 10-15 minutes until cooked.
  8. Remove the foil, top with grated cheese and bake for a final 5-10 minutes until the cheese has melted.
