How to make pasta bake without boiling!
- To a baking dish add around 500g of pasta (enough to serve 4-6 people).
- Top with the pasta sauce. You could just use some chopped tinned tomatoes for a very basic pasta bake.
- Add on top the same amount of water – pro tip: fill the empty pasta sauce jar with water and just add that.
- You can add other things at this point such as veggies, ham, tuna, whatever you want. There are loads of pasta bake recipes around!
- Mix everything together, it doesn’t look too great at this point but stick with it.
- Cover with foil and bake covered at 220 degrees / 200 degrees fan for 30 minutes. Carefully remove the foil, stir and replace the foil half way through cooking.
- After 30 minutes check the pasta is cooked and if not then cook for a further 10-15 minutes until cooked.
- Remove the foil, top with grated cheese and bake for a final 5-10 minutes until the cheese has melted.
