Smoked Paprika Chicken recipe

This delicious baked smoked paprika chicken makes for a simple 30 minute meal.
You can use either chicken breasts or thighs for this recipe (or swap for turkey).
Serve with some rice, roast potatoes a salad or some delicious roasted vegetables like onions, tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms and/or broccoli.
The ingredients below will make for the single serving.
Ingredients
To make 1 serving
- 1 chicken breastOr two thighs
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Pinch salt & pepperOr more/less to taste
- Pinch garlic powderOr more/less to taste
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
How to make smoked paprika chicken:
- Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees
- In a bowl, combine the oil, garlic, paprika and salt & pepper to form a smooth paste. You can adjust the quantities to taste. Mix well.
- Either brush the chicken with the paprika mix or add the chicken to the bowl and coat.
- Bake on a lined or greased baking tray for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked through. Exact cooking time will vary depending on size of the breast.
- For best results, once out of the oven cover with foil and allow to rest for five minutes.
