Tortilla Toaster Wraps

These crispy tortilla toaster wraps take literally three minutes to make.

Pack them full of ham, cheese and tomatoes or other fillings for a super quick snack.

Ingredients

To make 1 serving

  • Tortilla Wrap
  • Ham
  • Cheese
  • Tomato, thinly slicedOptional

How to make toaster wraps:

  1. Place your fillings across the top half of your wrap. Fillings placed across the top half of a wrap
  2. Fold up the wrap in half so you have a semi-circle Folded wrap
  3. Now fold across in half again. Folded wrap into quarters
  4. Carefully place the wrap at right angles into your toaster. Don’t force it – if it doesn’t fit, there are other ways to toast a wrap. Wrap placed in toaster
  5. Toast your wrap on your toaster’s lowest setting. Repeat if you want it more toasted.
  6. Enjoy!

Toasting Wraps

While you can put a wrap in a toaster like this, be careful! Don’t overstuff your wrap and force it in. Use the lowest setting and keep a constant eye on it to ensure it doesn’t begin to burn.

Alternative fillings for toaster wraps

Some other fillings for tortilla toaster wraps you could try are:

  • Turkey and Swiss cheese: A great alternative to ham, turkey offers a leaner option and pairs well with Swiss cheese for a melt-in-your-mouth experience.
  • Chicken and cheddar cheese: For a twist on the standard filling, try cooked chicken with a sharp cheddar.
  • Ham and apple with cheddar cheese: For a sweet and savoury mix, add thin slices of apple to your traditional ham and cheddar toastie
