Fried bananas recipe

This fried banana recipe may contain plenty of fruit but it’s not all that healthy, we’ve got to be honest.

Ingredients

  • Banana 1
  • Flour 5 tbsps
  • Sugar Optional 2 tsps
  • Oil 2 tbsps

Directions:

  1. Add the flour into the bowl with about 5 tablespoons of water. Mix well until you have a slightly runny batter – add more water if needs be. Add in the sugar here too if you want.
  2. Meanwhile heat the oil in a frying pan over a high heat.
  3. Cut the bananas into quarters (cut in half lengthways then in half in the middle).
  4. Dip the banana pieces into the batter, let any excess drip off and then fry them until golden and crispy.
